夏の終わり。 [福岡晃子]

出演してきましたぜ！モンスターバッシュ☆

徳島県と愛媛県出身のわたしたちにとっては、香川県も地元のようなもので、
市内を車で走っていると見慣れた街が広がっていました。

ライブも、地元の友達のバンド四星球とコラボしたり、楽屋裏でみんなとわいわいしたり、
夏が終わるなんて嫌だー！！！！
と無駄吠えしてました。

知らず知らずのうちに、わたしも夏を満喫してたのかもなー。

あぁ、もうすぐカマキリの季節だ。

End of summer.

We did our performance ! Monster Bash ☆

For us who are from Tokushima and Ehime , Kagawa prefecture was like home to us and driving around, the city we were familiar with had expanded so much.

The live too, we did a collab` with our local friends Xu-xing-cyu, making a lot of noise with everyone back stage and making futile bellows of “I don`t want summer to end !!!!”

Before I`ve even realised it I`ve probably fully enjoyed summer.
Aaa, it`s almost praying mantis season.

うどんが食べたい！

どういうことだ！
ここ２日、朝に夜に、うどんを食べまくっていたのに。

東京に帰ってきたら、またうどんが食べたい。さぬきうど〜ん。

モンスターバッシュ、今年もやってきました。やっぱり地元のフェスは格別でしたね。
懐かしい景色と、懐かしい言葉と、懐かしいお客さんたちの雰囲気！そうそう、これが四国です。これがモンスターバッシュなのです！
同じ大学出身のバンド四星球も出演してまして、とび魚のバタフライのときに乱入してもらいました。
なんと魚の着ぐるみで登場。
その変態っぷりは健在！私は笑いすぎて危うくコーラスを間違うところでした。
ひゃ〜、楽しかったなぁ。
あとは９月７日に徳島で行われる、バリトゥードを残すのみ！

私達、また四国に帰りますから〜！

I want to eat udon !

That`s the situation !
Even though for the two nights I`ve been here, morning and night I`ve been eating udon.

Returning to Tokyo, I want to eat udon again. Sanuki udo~n!

We took part in Monster Bash this year too. A fes` in your hometown really is special.
The nostalgic scenery, nostalgic words/dialect and the nostalgic atmoshpere of the audience !Yes yes, this is Shikoku. These things are what make MONSTER BASH !
The band Xu-xing-cyu, also fellow graduates from my university, performed and during Tobiou no butterfly we had them tresspass on on the stage. They even made an entrance dressed in a fish-costume.
I who was in good health laughed too much and came dangerously close to making a mistake in the chorus.
Hyaa~ that was fun.
All that`s left is VALETUDO in Tokushima on September 7th.
We`ll come back to Shikoku again~!

おめでとうございました！

いしわたり淳治さんのお誕生会をしました！
大人が集まって、はじめは厳かに、最後はプレゼントに大盛り上がりの楽しいパーティーでした。

メンバーの選んだプレゼントは三者三様で、ここにも個性がでていました。

パーティーの途中で、テーブルに置いてあった花をグラスに挿しはじめるくみこん。

その後ろに潜む、いしわたりさんとえっちゃん。

Congratulations

We celebrated Ishiwatari Junji`s birthday !
Adults gathered while at first dignified, climaxing with presents, it was very enjoyable party.

The presents the members selected were each unique so even here, their indivuality was shown in them.
In the middle of the party Kumikon got some flowers that were placed on the table and began to place them in her glass.
Lurking in the back are Ishiwatari-san and Ecchan.
They`re smirking.

冬が恋しい [橋本絵莉子]

急激に、冬が恋しいです。

まだフェスを残しているとゆうのに。
基本的に冬の方が好きなのだけど、フェスのおかげで
夏が好きになったのだけど、もう、暑いの飽きた。

今日はくみこんちでスイカ食べてからレコーディングに向かいました。
スイカ食べてなかったら、スタジオまでたどり着けてなかったかも、
と思いたいくらい暑い。

冬になると必ずやってくるあの心のワサワサ感が、恋しいです。
そんな、今日です。

I yearn for winter

All of a sudden I`m yearning for winter.

Even though I`ve got fes.`s left.
Generally I prefer winter but because of the fes.`s I`ve started to like summer, but I`m sick of the heat.

Today I ate watermelon at Kumikon`s then headed off for recording.
It was so hot that I thought if I hadn`t had that watermelon I wouldn`t have made it to the studio.

I yearn for that wasawasa feeling that always comes with winter.
Well, that`s my day.

When I searched our name in the internet

there was a thing which attatches a catchphrase to it.

I tried it out.

Firstly Kumikon.

If it was Kumikon I can imagine she`d go with the circular notice, then at the place she`d taken it she`d start chatting with them and the circular notice would stop circulating there.
In that sense it`s absolutley correct.

みんなの故郷、鳴門 [高橋久美子]

お盆が終わりました。ラッシュでしたねー。
みなさんだるそうな顔で空港を歩いておられました。
休みは終わり終わり〜！！
今日から働くのじゃ〜！

徳島に帰ってる間に、大学の軽音部の同窓会があり、20人以上が集まりました。
久々に会う先輩、後輩達とバーベキューや花火をしました。
ほんとに楽しかった。
軽音部という場所は大学時代、一番心を寄せていた場所だったな。いつも部室にたまってワイワイやってた。
こんなに楽しい集まりは久しぶりだったかもしれない。
お肉焼きながら、カホーンを叩いて、ギターをひいて。練習室に行って、何年ぶりかのセッションして。
みんな変わってないなぁ。
余計なことも、煩わしいことも全く聞かれない。私の心のオアシスはオアシスのままでした。泣けるくらいに。
この人達と巡り会えたことに感謝したいと思った。
そして今でも繋がっていることに。

みんなお元気で！
私も元気で頑張るよ☆

Everybodys hometown, Naruto

The Bon festival has finished. It was a rush wasn`t it.
Everyone was walking through the airport with lifeless looking faces.
The break is over over ~!!
Back to work from today~!

While I was back in Tokushima, there was a reunion of the university`s light music club and over 20 people gathered.
With all my seniors and juniors whom I hadn`t met with for ages, we did a bbq and firworks.
It was really enjoyable.

The light music club during my uni days, was the place I put all my heart and soul into.
We would always gather in the club room and have a great time.
I don`t thik I`ve had such an ejoyable gathering in a long while.
Cooking some meat while tapping the cajons, playing the guitar.
Went to the practice room and had a jam since who knows how long.

Nobodys changed. Couldn`t hear any unecessary or troublesome things.
The oasis in my heart still remained an oasis.
So much that I cold cry.
I felt so grateful to have met such wonderful people.
And that we are still connected today.

Everyone, stay in good health!
I`ll be well and do my best☆

私たちミュージシャンは、しょっちゅうレコーディングします。

なので、いつ、どんな機材を使ったのかすぐ忘れてしまうので、
レコーディングノートを書いています。

レコーディングノートには、使った機材の他に、その日にあったこととか、その日に食べたお弁当とかを書き込みます。

今日、今年の4月16日のメモを見たら、こんな感じでした。

Recording notes

Us musicians always do recordings.
Which is why we quickly forget what equipment we used so we take recording notes.
In our recording notes, besides what equipment we used we writestuff like what happened on that day or the obento/lunch we had.

Today, looking at the notes from April 18th this year, it looked like this.
The one who wrote it was Kumikon.
By the way, I have no recollection of having such aspirations.

Please, do enlarge the pic and have a look.

The thing in the upper left, “wouldn`t it be great if such a cake existed !”
was apparently the theme.

今年も阿波踊り参加してきました。
途中少し雨が降ったりもしたけど、無事に終わってよかったよ。

やっぱ阿波踊りは徳島の自慢です。

The update to the diary entry I made during the Lantern Festival again, didn`t update…
Am I hated by machines?

I participated in the Awa Odori once again this year.
It did rain a little but It was good the festival ended safely.

Awa Odori really is Tokushima`s pride.

Next time, on School of LOCK`s “Pride and Prefecture”, I`m giving serious thought to sbmitting mine.

ロックだったぜ！

福岡のみなさん、最後まで楽しんでくれたみたいで、良かった。

５バンドとライブハウスで対バンするのは結構久しぶりで、楽屋でそわそわしてました。

やっぱりフェスとは違うなー。

しかも今回のイベントタイトルが

「ロックだぜ！」

だもん。

「爆笑オンエアバトル」

なみにハードルが最初から高いとこが割と好きです。

明日もくるりさんと対バン！

間違いなく、でらぜっぴんなライブにしたい。

This is Rock !

All the folks at Fukuoka seemed to enjoy themselves to the end so that was good.
It was quite a while since we performed with 5 other bands in a live house so I was a little nervous backstage.
It`s certainly different from a fes.
But also `cause this event`s name was “This is Rock!”

I like how the hurlde is high right from the start, on the level of Bakusho (comedy) On-air Battle.
Tomorrow we play alongside Kururi !
Without fail, I want to make it an unforgettable LIVE.
